Asia-Pacific Quality Network AAC and AGM 2022

From November 24 to November 27, 2022, the highly awaited APQN AAC and AGM 2022 was held at the LifeLong Learning Institute in Singapore. It was the first physical that the annual after two years. The event had brought together about 100 experts and professionals in the education industry from more than 10 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Russia, Japan, Australia, China, Philippines, and others. The experts had in-depth discussions and exchanges on education research and development in the region, reached meaningful consensus and put forward many constructive suggestions.

The conference was enlightened by 2 keynote addresses from Dr Tariq Al-Sindi, the Chief Executive of the Education & Training Quality Authority of Bahrain and Dr Wang Libing, Chief, Section for Educational Innovation and Skills Development (EISD), UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, along with 5 plenary presentations and 6 parallel sessions.

The themes distilled from the array of presentations are: –

  1. Digitalization of Quality Assurance;
  2. Information Technology Innovations in Higher Education Accreditation;
  3. Internationalization of Quality Assurance;
  4. Quality Assurance of Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning;
  5. Redefining Role of Government and Private Sector.
